Mission

The original purpose of our association was to try to find as many of our shipmates as possible and give them the opportunity to contact or meet old friends.

We have been successful, but along the way we have become much more successful developing new friends. These friendships occur because we bond by sharing experiences, emotions, and support through our members attendance at the reunions, our Newsletter, and our NSA/NSF DaNang web site & Facebook page. We are helping each other by promoting kinship, healing and connection between our NSA/NSF DaNang Veterans.

Although we did not originally receive a proper “Welcome Home” when we returned from Vietnam, we see that many have realized they were in error and now thank us for our service and Welcome us Home.

As Vietnam Veterans, we have always had each other’s backs. We need to continue to provide support to each other whether it be physical aid, emotional support or by the comradery of sharing stories, friendships or just time spent together by people who shared a mission.

Our Mission Today is to continue to help reconnect shipmates, share pertinent information, and to promote kinship, healing and connection between our NSA/NSF DaNang Veterans.
